Dinsearch 4-00 (Eddy Current)
This equipment accurately measures the reduction to the lighting column wall thickness at and below ground level, down to a depth of
750mm. Access is gained through the column door and no excavation is necessary.
Ultrasonic
The ultrasonic equipment accurately measures the reduction to the thickness of the lighting column wall using sound wave technology.
Other Tests
Visual assessments, magnetic crack detection, penetrant tests, concrete visual assessments (within the requirements of Technical Report 22 Institute of Lighting Engineers).

Assessments to illuminated and non-illuminated signs.

Snake Eye (Internal Video Imaging)
This equipment enables internal visual examination at heights of up to 12 metres,
recording still and video images of the condition of the lighting column.

Relative Loss of Section Equipment (RLS)

This equipment measures the reduction to the lighting column wall thickness below ground level to a depth of 100mm. This form of testing is particularly useful where there is limited access through the column door. No excavation is required.
